Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 250 g plain flour
  • 0.5 l milk
  • 10 g butter melted

Instructions

  1. Whisk the eggs. Gently mix in the flour, milk and melted butter.
  2. Heat a frying pan.
  3. Pour the equivalent of 2 to 3 tablespoons of batter into the pan then quickly tilt the pan with a circular motion so that the batter forms a thin pancake covering evenly the base of the pan.
  4. This will cook in a minute so flip it and cook for 30 seconds to a minute on the other side, then place aside on a plate.
  5. Continue with the rest of the batter.

Recipe Notes

You can keep your crêpes warm by covering the pile with aluminium foil or re-heat them empty or filled in the microwave/on a frying pan.

Melted butter tastes a lot better than oil and by mixing it in you won't have to grease your pan. Savoury crêpes ideas: ham, egg, cheese, mushrooms; Sweet crêpes ideas: lemon and sugar, jam, icing sugar, nutella...
